It was a foggy Sunday night, with the moon half hidden in the dark and half revealed; everything was quite still, not even the branches of trees dared to move, in the silent twilight, afraid that might hear their creak of branches.
Hedgehogs rushed into their underground burrows nomming delightly their small tiny flying preys, fireflies, a divine meal that just the lucky, cunning ones catch; daylight birds snuggled down to their nests, while the offsprings started to drift away, the parents kept an eye on the dangers hidden in the darkened wood.
Robin took a long bubbled bath, after eating a veggie pie, plus chips with ice tea, warm soup and a red apple at the end of her afternoon meal.
In front of the mirror, she combed her long straight light brown hair while gazing at the curves of her seventeen year-old body, her gaze lingered on the scar she had on her right knee, recalling her child memories when she used to play with her cousins at their new, although un-finished, house where she stumbled on one of the countless building materials scattered all over the floor, her eyes kept following her body shapes untill meeting two dark shiny spots, below them, there were three slight freckles on both of her cheeks.
A noise coming from the roof startled her, she landed the comb on her bedside table, opened the window and walked into the balcony barefoot, just wearing shorts and a top. Leaning against the grating, a fella looked down, with his feet tangled on the roof, and his hoodie covering half of his face.
"Ohai love, are you headed to some dangerous adventures in such a lovely night?" he purposed, realising a warm cloud of water vapour which vanished in the cold air, at the last day of January.
"How many times do I have to tell you, not to sneak into my balcony like that?" she remind him, disguising a grin on her face, as she went to wear a jeans and a sweatshirt.

A group of five teens journeyed deep into the local woods, trying to satisfy the enourmous desire of adrenalin in their blood. The several paths seemed all the same under the slight moonlight, and so the teens got themselves lost, surrounded by the unknown.
Something was lurking in the dark, a light in the middle of such darkness, they stopped and stared, delighted by the view of thousands fireflies with their eerie glow, but they weren't alone.
Beneath some bushes, there was a half corpse of a twenty year-old lady and the look in her bloody eyes was terrifying. The teens started stepping back, trying not to panic, "We found the other half of the missing person."
On the background a wolf howl sounded through the air, adrenalin started rushing into their veins and insanity began to settle their minds and just like frightening sheeps they turned their back to the predator and ran madly towards the civilization.
Although someone was left behind, someone couldn't run away from the darkness inside her soul...

Pouring rain was falling down on Earth, washing the sins away and blessing the praying and devoted people.
Robin was curled up in some light green blankets, they seemed shine and new, as if they were made a few minutes ago; she was laying on a bed-couch which the years were quite visible; on her left, there was a long wooden dinner table on top of it, a red treat and warm tea were tempting her; on the other side of the darkened room, a fireplace carved in stone stood out from all the rest; the red, orange and yellow flames sorted some kind of hypnotize effect because she didn't even noticed on the other person resting on the same room as her.
The man probably was around his fourty, with his eyes hidden behind some old darkened glasses, the beard growing on his face had a couple of weeks age but he looked like that just had a haircut, he also was curled up on blankets, sipping tea from a cup and with an intriguing expression burning on his face.
"Ah, welcome. The tea is still warm, and your company is welcome on this dark, moonless night." he said waiting for an answer, but she said nothing, unless keeping a straight stare with him, "Tell me, what brings you to this place during these cold winters months? There is little to do in this town of ours."
She took a while to replied, however she was very clear about her answer "Curiosity, adrenalin and danger..."
"That it does. It is a close part of human nature as is fear of fire and the will to find air when we are drowing. It does lead to some marvelous inovations..." he glanced sideways across the gap towards Robin, before sipping from his cup.
"Without fear, there's no courage. Without will, there's no action." she said droningly as if she was still hypnotized, by the fireplace while he leaned sideways and picked up a dried log from a small pile, placing it within the hungry grasp, "After all, humans are just a bunch of sheeps pretending to be lions... Every place we see advanced tecnologies, while on the other hand there's still poor children starving to death and caught as well inside child traffic... CANNIBALS!" she externalized, fearing that those words of freedom might be her last.
He raised an eyebrow while glancing at Robin, but quickly retained an impassive expression, "Not everything is that black or white, everything floats as one in order to provide the right balance to our universe. Sheeps eat sheeps, lions eat sheeps and sheeps die trying to fed the illusion, that they are the real predators!" he confirmed, sitting back in his chair and folding his hands together.
She nodded agreeing with the old man, feeling now exhausted and dizzy "I'm going..." and turned her back towards the other room. He only dared to watch while she left and smiled quietly to himself, having enjoyed the conversation and the inspired thoughts of the young.
He heard the sound of a door closing, and everything was quiet again, except for the enchanted sound coming from the fireplace.
